The Settlement
For situations where both parties have legitimate grievances. No winner. No loser.
Most of our products address situations where the grievance flows in one direction. One party was wronged. One party was the subject. The Settlement is for situations where that clarity doesn't exist — where both parties have been harmed, both parties have legitimate claims, and the question isn't who gets vengeance, but how both parties get to be done with this.
We facilitate a structured exchange. Both parties participate (with consent). Both receive a Proportionality Review. The engagement is designed so that each party's response to the other is proportionate to what they received, calibrated so the exchange concludes at the same moment for both sides. No winner. No loser. A settlement, ethically sourced.
This requires both parties to agree to the process. We do not conduct The Settlement unilaterally. If only one party engages us, we can offer them one of our other products. If both parties independently contact us, we check our records. This has happened. We have facilitated the introduction. It was unusual. It resolved things.

A note on symmetry:
The Settlement does not require that both grievances are equal in size. It requires that each response is proportionate to what was received. Two different proportional responses, executed simultaneously, constitute a settlement. You do not have to have been hurt equally to be done equally.
